For the last year, Streeter Law Group has shared its fearless leader with the North County Bar Association.
Debra Leffler Streeter was elected President at the end of 2013, and served as President throughout 2014. In addition, Debbie continued growing and leading our firm … working full time hours … and then some.
During her term as President, Debbie and the North County Bar Association continued to nurture on ongoing relationship with the North County Judiciary; a relationship which is expected to continue throughout 2015 and beyond.
Additionally, the NCBA made their presence felt in the community, by hosting a series of events. (One such event provided free legal advice). Another was “Youth in Court,” (a long standing annual event whose purpose is to expose children of different ages to both the courtroom, and the justice system; doing so through various activities which take place directly inside the courthouse).
Despite the passing of the presidential torch, Debbie remains an active member and participant of the “Youth in Court’s” planning committee.
Behind the scenes Debbie and the NCBA made decisions on how to allocate funds for the purpose of improving the North County Bar Association website, in the hopes of making the site more user-friendly to the public, all while keeping their budget in the black, and taking steps to go paperless.
Debbie remains a huge advocate and supporter of the North County Bar Association, as does her staff. We additionally remain a huge advocate and supporter of Debbie!
